It would be good for the administrator to be able to select default date format and timezone for the entire site. Same way as the administrator is selecting the default theme.

Administrators should be able to control which editors are enabled. For example, if I want to make sure that all pages are created with the Markdown editor, I should be able to disable the WYSIWYG editor to prevent any pages from being created in that format.

There could be tool for checking existance of links used in all .md documents, especially internal links, from time to time we need to change folder structure, move a piece of info somewhere else etc... or external links stop working. link refactoring is planned, but additional testing tool could be useful from time to time...

Statistics/Reports on article views & search queries. To take it a step further, there could be graphs, article view time, referring site/link, click behavior (expose if navigating or searching is giving the viewer what they want, "handled vs unhandled").

It's been discussed on several posts with different forms but there is not a one specifically saying: 1) each object (page, asset, comment) should have it's owner 2) the ownership can be given to anyone by the owner taken by users with appropriate permission (administrators=globally + page rules) 3) add new page rule Assume page ownership Assume asset ownership Assume comment ownership 4) add new permissions: Edit+Delete own pages only Edit+Delete own assets only Edit+Delete own comments only This would push whole permission settings to a new level.

Would love the option for admin to be able to set banner informing users about planned outage and other activities. Like "Outage is planned this weekend 1AM to 5AM... Wiki will be unavailable" Or at least for starters (easier probably to implement) to email all users with such information. Of course for those that have email registered.

I am self hosting in the school i work at that has 500+ pupils. There is no option to bulk create user accounts (The bulk import button is greyed out). This would be very useful so i don't have to individually create user accounts.
