Collapsible Navigation Sidebar

Depending on the window size, the blue navigation area on the left disappears into a round blue button with 3 horizontal white stripes.
It would be nice to have the option to always (independent of window size) have the navigation area collapsed.
This would maximize screen real estate in some cases

Allow user to collapse / expand the navigation sidebar, including default setting (collapsed or expanded). This feature allows user to have wider reading area when they need to.
In the current layout, the navigation sidebar, and the page content column take a lot of space. The navigation sidebar is important, but not always.

I found and then lost a solution for injecting code that created a collapsing sidebar button. Might anyone know what it is?

Matt Edelstein: As a temporary workaround you could click on the print button and then close the print dialog. To toggle it back on, click the print button again.
So this feature already exists and it would be nice to have a dedicated button for it without opening the printing window.

I think this has already been requested a few times (https://feedback.js.wiki/wiki/p/accordion). There is a Markdown workaround, but it looks rather ugly. This would be very useful to have for large directory / table-of-contents pages in the visual editor.

+1, I have a few pages which display tables that are too wide for the page (including navigation). A collapsible navigation pane would be a great feature to add.

Yes would love this option, and if possible when there are no items in the navigation bar at all, it could disappear completely?
