Convert an image in visual editor from embedded to asset and vice versa

When an image is pasted into the visual editor it is embedded on the page. I would like to be able to convert an embedded object into an asset and select the folder and name of the asset and similarly if an asset is inserted be able to convert it to an embedded image on the page.

To clarify, so far I have been able to copy and paste embedded image by copying the image to word, and then copying and pasting it from word into the Wiki. Being able to directly paste an image in the visual editor would also be nice.
