Index assets such as PDF, Office Documents

With the ability to use elasticsearch as the search engine, would it be possible to index PDF, word, ppt, excel docs together as well so that search bar can search across those assets as well?

There should be option to search text inside a document. For example, if I upload the HR policy of my company on wiki, and someone wants to search for Leave Policy, one should be able to search leave policy inside the document. Simple token search would be enough for this.

I agree, it would be a great addition! For new docs build from scratch, using Markdown in Wiki.js is the way to go, but sometime, we have to refer PDF or Word files made by third parties.

this would sell me on Wiki.js. I'm trying to dump Evernote but pdf search feature is keeping me there.
