Notifications / Email on select events
planned

This is a good idea. Additionally, it will be also good to add watcher option to wiki pages. Watching a page would mean the same what is requested here, getting an email to user when content on a page changes.

Yup, we need notifications ASAP. Would be so useful for me trying to build a community run wiki.... I have to keep an eye on what folks are doing!

Forced follow on pages or namespaces
M
Michael Coats
We would like to utilize this wiki for our Employee Handbook. We could have each of our staff set up a "follow" for every individual page, but that doesn't guarantee that they do it, or do it completely. I'd like to request a "forced follow" where administrators can force a group of users to follow a page. Better yet, I'd like to have that "forced follow" for every page in a specific URL namespace (such as /en/mycompany/handbook/*).
Every time an update to the pages are made, everyone in the group would get the email notification.
The same scenario could be used for team/department SOP's, etc.

Admin notification of registrations
Noah
As an administrator with a private wiki and open registration, I will need to manually move a user into a specific group before they can access the wiki. This is the intended and expected behavior.
It would make my job easier if I were able to be notified via email when a new user self-registers so that I can quickly respond and move them into the appropriate group.
Thanks!

Notification Center for Wiki Admins
Raven Zachary
Create a Notification Center for Wiki Admins that lists all changes to the wiki (new pages, edits to pages, new comments, new users, deletions, server updates, etc.). Ideally this would be a page in the admin area with associated preferences to receive these updates via email.

What is the threshold vote to change the status of feature requests from "Planned" to "In Progress"? :)
