Page ownership permissions
planned
Michal
It's been discussed on several posts with different forms but there is not a one specifically saying:
1) each object (page, asset, comment) should have it's owner
2) the ownership can be
- given to anyone by the owner
- taken by users with appropriate permission (administrators=globally + page rules)
3) add new page rule
- Assume page ownership
- Assume asset ownership
- Assume comment ownership
4) add new permissions:
- Edit+Delete own pages only
- Edit+Delete own assets only
- Edit+Delete own comments only
This would push whole permission settings to a new level.

I hope users within a group can only modify and delete their own articles.

The option to have unpublished page visible only to the creator. Currently, unpublished pages are still visible to everyone.

Need this model for aggregating information from people, without too much of admin involvement:
- Allow a group to create pages in a specified folder path.
- Pages can be created against listed templates.
- Creator owns the page they create and can modify.
Each are different features actually, and very useful.

Yep having users create own pages and having ONLY them be able to edit would be a great feature!

This needs to added.

Yes this feature will be very helpful

Assigning an owner (= creator by default) would be helpful.
We are currently thinking of doing this via tags, but an optional field in the sidebar that links directly to users would be more elegant.

Benjamin: Yes! That would be great.
