Annotations can capture comments on reading a document lowering the barrier of contribution that editing a document carries. I imagine it would be similar to Hackmd/Google Docs , XWiki has an implementation but the UX kind of clunky.

Add a feature to tag/mention other users of this wiki in native comments (e.g. ' Hi, @AndrewK') with autocomplete suggestions. The tagged user should receive either an email notification or a notification in the user area in the wiki itself.

Hello, Currently we can only comment in pages, but not reply to comments. Add an ability to reply to comments / have a comment tree. Thank you.

Display a list of all comments or new comments using the new 2.4.105 comments system.

Nested comment feature like Reddit/Facebook/Linkedin.

Would be useful information for pages to have 'last commented' field, which would be updated every time a new comment was added.
