Looking for a nice way to share (formatted) wiki pages with external links intact

It would be great, to add an embedded way for PDFs.

Would love the option for admin to be able to set banner informing users about planned outage and other activities. Like "Outage is planned this weekend 1AM to 5AM... Wiki will be unavailable" Or at least for starters (easier probably to implement) to email all users with such information. Of course for those that have email registered.

Currently when moving or renaming a page, all existing links point to the old page. The correct behaviour would be to update all links to the new page, either optional or explicit.

Similar to personal spaces in Confluence, essentially a sub-wiki that a user has complete access to. That way any personal projects/pages can be a subpage of that user's personal space or profile, keeping it slightly distant from the main wiki. The user has full control over who can read/write in his/her personal space.

Although a wiki is a collection of pages, often they are organised in a tree structure. If you want to move a page that is at the top of a subtree and all pages below it, that is very cumbersome. Adding a "move tree" function would greatly simplify moving, or renaming, subtrees and keep consistency.

Ability to move or rename folders in the Image / File Manager.

It might be hard to integrate, but it would be a killer feature that no other wiki offers. Perhaps you could use ShareDB: https://github.com/share/sharedb https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operational_transformation

A modular notification system. Users, User groups, Admins can be notified about events. For example: Content events (new page, updated page, deleted page) Admin events (new registration, failed login attempts, failed git sync,....).
